1 August 2009: The Water Carnival at the Swansea Yacht and Sub-Aqua Club
This was an annual charitable event to raise money for a local hospice. There were various entertainments, including a raft race. Our stand was in the boatyard of the Old Pumping House in a large gazebo shared with the RNLI. The Marine Volunteer Service provided safety cover for the water-borne events and burgers, teas and cakes were provided by the SYSAC. It was a pity it rained much of the day but it was good to be represented at a significant local event at the Marina.Latest Articles
