Donation received from Visteon Sports and Social Club

Our community work has been recognised again. Station Manager, Alan Richards, has received a donation of £200 to help us continue our watch keeping at Worm's Head. The money was handed over by Marlene and Alan Thomas (see photo) on behalf of members of the Visteon Sports and Social Club based in Treboeth. The club holds weekly quiz nights during which a collection for charity is made. Over the last 13 years the members have raised nearly £20,000, all of which has been donated to local charities. We were nominated to receive this donation after one of the members of the club heard Alan give a talk about NCI.
