On 27 July 2009 Coastguard Watch Assistant, Alison Carey, made an unexpected visit to the watch-keepers at Rhossili. She was accompanied by Julian Whale, a new recruit and was showing him the area and the NCI Rhossili Lookout. Alison and Julian are part of the Coastguard at Mumbles, Swansea. Of particular note is that they left a packet of Cookies for the watch-keepers. All stations, all stations, all stations: all visitors are particularly welcome when bearing gifts. |
