Watching Julia
Last Updated on Monday, 30 August 2010 18:51
During the summer peak period Julia, the Swansea–Cork ferry, has additional sailings which pass the lookout while we are on watch. The Sunday daytime sailing usually departs Swansea Ferry Port at 09:00 and the duty watch keepers log the ship when it passes us an hour and twenty minutes or so later.
Here it is around 7 nautical miles away passing Worm's Head
outside the Helwick Bank on the 8th August 2010.
