A sighting of a very rare visitor to the U.K. was seen at Rhossili last weekend (27/28 March 2010). This large white bird, a Gyrfalcon has its normal habitat in Iceland and Greenland and attracted a host of "twitters" hoping for a sighting. For images of the Gyrfalcon click here. |
