Compass North

Magnetic north is the direction indicated by a magnetic compass.
True north is the direction of a meridian of longitude which converges on the North Pole.
Grid north is the direction northwards along the grid lines of a map projection.
Ordnance Survey maps indicate the difference between grid north, true north, and magnetic north.
Declination is the vertical angle of difference between true north and magnetic north.
