Wasp

1895 - The Wasp was a steam tug, one of a group searching for survivors of a collision between the steamship Severn and another tug. The others lost sight of her and only found her when one of them ran into an underwater obstruction. It was the Wasp lying on her side on the Mixon Sands. There was no sign of her crew. (ref 169)
