Albion

1868 - The Albion, a Cardiff Brig with a cargo of copper ore and esparto grass, was found stranded and abandoned at Whitford Point. The galley fire was still alight and the ship's cat still on board but there was no sign of the crew. Their bodies, including that of a 16 year old seaman, came shore over the next few days. (ref 122)
