1828 - The Sloop Jane, en route from Bristol to Carmarthen with a cargo of freestone and shop goods, sprang a leak off Worms Head and headed for the shore. She sank rapidly and drifted on to rocks at Tears Point The crew got ashore safely and were able to retrieve some of the cargo the next day. (ref 137)Latest Articles
