The Hope (Mixons 1850)

1850 - The Hope of Port Eynon, with a cargo of oats from Waterford, was seen to founder on the Mixons but no rescue could be effected until low tide.   By then it was too late for her crew, William Richards (whose body drifted as far as Nash Point before it was recovered), John Richards and Abraham Ace.   (ref 099a)
