1875 - The Gleanings, a schooner from Bideford, a regular carrier of limestone from Gower to Devon, was wrecked on Burry Holms and the crew all drowned. The wreck was not discovered until three days later when a body was washed ashore, alerting people to the tragedy. (Ref: 005a)Latest Articles
