Fort Medine
1941 – Fort Medine a 5261 ton French steamship, bound from Newfoundland to Port Talbot with a cargo of iron ore, was mined off Mumbles Head, and sank rapidly. Her crew of forty-six were picked up by the pilot cutter. (Ref: 105)
