SS Fellside

1924 – The SS Fellside, bound for Swansea and carrying a cargo of pitprops, ran ashore at Heatherslade. The crew abandoned in two boats, one came ashore successfully but the other capsized and a seaman was drowned. The vessel became a total wreck. (Ref: 077)
