Notre Dame de France
1906 – The ketch Notre Dame de France was driven inshore in heavy seas at Oxwich. The lifeboat arrived and was able, with difficulty, to put some of her crew aboard to help. Eventually a line was secured and the ketch towed out of danger and into Swansea. (Ref: 071)
