The Mumbles

1931 – The Mumbles, a 195 ton tug on its way back from assisting a disabled tanker, the British Motorist, ran aground at Oxwich Point.   The crew got off safely but the vessel, in spite of efforts to refloat her, broke up. (Ref: 067)
