Xanthippe

1886 – The Xanthipe was an Aberystwyth brig carrying phosphate rock from Jamaica to Port Talbot. She ran aground in thick fog on to the west side of Oxwich Point. The crew got ashore safely but the ship toppled over and broke up. (Ref. 065)
