SS Hazard (Port Eynon)

1872 - The SS Hazard in ballast en route from Rouen to Swansea ran at full speed on to rocks off Port Eynon. She sank very fast but all the crew got ashore safely, with only one injury. The Captain and the mate were censured, the Captain having his certificate suspended for three months. (Ref. 044)
