The Fanny

1841 - The Fanny, a schooner en route from Newport to Bideford, ran into heavy weather and put about for Mumbles.   She struck the Mixons and began to sink.   The crew were rescued by the Swansea pilot craft. the Susan.   The crew of the Susan were given a cash reward by the Lifeboat Association.  (ref 0910
